Can Dermoptera read transferred state?

The service is designed to receive ciphertext without the decryption key. It cannot guarantee the security of a compromised app, browser, device or copied continuation URL.

Do end users need accounts?

No. Developer accounts configure Projects; transfer recipients remain anonymous to the product.

Is this sync?

No. One transfer has one successful claim and a short TTL.

What if the receiver already has progress?

Your Application Adapter must offer Replace or Cancel before claim. The initial SDK does not merge state.

Can I transfer sessions or passwords?

No. Those uses are outside the product boundary.

What counts toward quota?

Only a successful claim. Creates, expiry and rejected claims do not.
